Queens Birthday Weekend Journal Writing

Bounce, Catch, Throw
By Jess

The loud whistle blew and it all started. It was the awesome Darfield Force playing against mean Kirwee Primary A. First I was running around trying to guard my partner when "boom" I had the ball in my hands. I quickly throw it to someone in my team.

Then suddenly the whistle blew. We had got a goal. Everyone cheered loudly so I ran back to my place. I was so happy until I heard this loud voice saying, "oh well done, you're so good." I turned around and it was someone from the other team. I was so-o-o-o angry!!

Next the whistle blew. They had the ball because I was angry with that girl, when she threw it. I took all my strength and did this enourmous intercept and it flew right in the hands of Stefanie. I was so pleased with myself. Before I knew it, we had another goal, then another, then another. By that time we had seven but they had 26 and when I was thinking about that they got another goal and the whistle blew for full game.

The score was 27-7 to them. I enjoyed the game but thought that the Kirwee team were a bit mean.

Birds
By Niamh

Guess what happened in the bright sunny weekend? Two tiny birds flew into our shiny, clean window. One bird died of a bright, bright red bleeding nose but the other bird just survived!

We threw the bird into the stinky dark haunted rubbish bin where dead things go. The dead dark brown bird was a robin bird and the surviving bird was a black bird who had a bright yellow beak and a bright blue, yellow and black bubbly eyes.

We got to hold the black bird with bubbly eyes. Until it flew away to its mini trees in our massive natural home. I liked saving the bird because I love animals and nature.

My Netball Game
By Claire

On a bright Saturday moorning our team had a netball game at 8.30. We did it at the netball courts.

First, we warmed up. We did catching , throwing, passing and excersing.

Then, it was the first half. We versed South Methen.

I was GS but I didn't score any goals but GA did two goals for the first half.

After that, it was the second half. I didn't play it but it was good to watch. We scored some goals then the other team scored some goals.

Finally, we finished and the score was 3-4 and we won!

My Motorbike
By Brayden

On a sunny Monday I got out of bed and put my motorbike gear on.

Then I got outside and pushed my bike out. It was as heavy as a big elephant.

When I got it out I was ready to go. I hopped on my bike and started it. Broom-room. It was as loud as a tiger.

I went from gear one to gear two then after a while I put on gear three. It went fast.

My motorbike is blue, black and white. It is a Yamaha brand. I have a Thor helmet and Thor goggles. My goggles are as stretchy as string. I have Fox pants and a Fox t-shirt. I have Pulse boots and gloves and I have three stickers on my motorbike.

I like my motorbike because they're fun to ride.

The Gymnasium
By Callum

On the happy Monday I went to the gymnasium. I loved it. I learnt a handstand, a flip, cartwheel.
It was easy to learn.
